four years ago, Ontario premier decided to eliminate the 5th years in highschool in all Ontario highschool. Four years later, the class of 2003, ontario grade 12 and grade 13 graduate together. Thus, there's approximately double the normal number of first-years entering university, thus explains the crowd, the competition for resource, the reason why special students are having a hard time getting into class.
