A pair of crashes sent two patients to the regional trauma centre with serious injuries Thursday evening.
Firefighters first had to extricate a trapped driver with serious face and leg injuries from a vehicle after a two-car, T-bone collision on Carp Road at Thomas A. Dolan Parkway at about 5:45 p.m.
At about 7:20 p.m., three vehicles collided on Hunt Club Road at Roydon Place. A 46-year-old man was in serious condition with shoulder, chest, pelvis and leg injuries. A three-year-old girl and a 50-year-old woman were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
