The province’s special investigations unit is investigating a fatal crash near Smiths Falls late Thursday.
The police watchdog agency tweeted Friday that it was probing the crash near the intersection of Kitley Line 8 Road, also known as Morrison Road in the area, and County Road 7, in the Frankville township district.
No other details were released.
The SIU investigates when police are involved in incidents that result in a serious injury or death.
