Ottawa Police Service closed several streets in the downtown core as they investigated “an incident” on Slater Street near O’Connor Street early Monday morning.
Slater Street was closed from Bank to Metcalfe streets to all traffic, including vehicles and pedestrians.
O’Connor Street was closed from Albert Street to Laurier Avenue, likewise closed to all traffic.
Police would not reveal any details about that they are investigating, but it was reported at least one person may have been taken to hospital.
Police do remind the public that anonymous tips may be made by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or by downloading the Ottawa Police app.
