Police said the April 17 assault occurred in the 300 block of Preston, north of the Queensway.

Investigators say the victim, 20, was standing on the street with friends around 1:50 a.m. when an altercation occurred, resulting in the suspect biting off a portion of the young man’s ear and finger.

The suspect is believed to have an Eastern European accent and was wearing jeans and a T-shirt.

He was last seen travelling north on Preston Street.
