Ottawa – The City of Ottawa invites residents to provide feedback on community improvements being planned for the Richmond Road area. Part of this work is being done in preparation for Stage 2 of light rail transit (LRT).

The public consultation will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 4 at Our Lady of Fatima Parish Hall, 153 Woodroffe Avenue. This is an opportunity to learn about and discuss four projects currently underway:

The day-long public consultation will include display boards, presentations, small-group discussion and a crash course in land-use planning. A detailed agenda can be found at ottawa.ca/richmondbyron. City staff and Ward Councillors will be available to discuss these projects and to answer questions.

The City’s Stage 2 light rail package aims to add 19 new stations and 30 kilometres to our light rail transit network, extending it farther east, west and south by 2023.

Materials presented at all public consultations will also be posted on the website for those unable to attend. If you require special accommodation, please email your request before Thursday, June 2.
