A man whose DNA was found on the bodies of two women who worked in the sex trade was found guilty of two counts of first-degree murder Thursday.
Marc Leduc, 59, pleaded not guilty to two first-degree murder charges in the killings of 39-year-old Pamela Kosmack in 2008 and 23-year-old Leeanne Lawson in 2011.
Both were strangled after violent struggles, found naked from the waist down, had been severely beaten, and were dragged away from the scene of the initial struggle, court heard.
The jury found Leduc guilty after two days of deliberations.
Victim impact statements were expected to be read in court on Thursday afternoon.
