没有任何好处,如果是想回国,入籍的时候已经自动失去中国国籍.

According to the citizenship act of CANADA, you can resume your canadian citizenship if you "has become a permanent resident within the meaning of subsection 2(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and has, since having ceased to be a citizen and become a permanent resident, resided in Canada for at least one year immediately preceding the date of the application."

So I would assume it is possible to give up the citizenship and become permanent without re-applying.

Not exactly. Just extend or change PR card, you may keep your PR status as long as you can. Applying citizenship is not a must.

It is possible to extend the P.R. card so long as you get the permit to stay in Canada.

每次5年，没有次数限制。

若想离开加拿大去美国工作，就最好要个公民资格，若想长期呆在加拿大最好是个永久居民。

这就是著名的加拿大悖论。
