The National Research Council Temple of Science was among 19 additions to Doors Open Ottawa on Saturday.
Visitors to the temple had the chance to view both the architecture and the science and technology exhibits on display at the NRC heritage building.
The 2016 edition of Doors Open Ottawa includes more than 130 of the city’s historically, culturally and functionally significant buildings.
In its 15th-anniversary year, Doors Open Ottawa continues to be the second-largest event of its kind in North America.
