Ottawa – Deputy Mayor Bob Monette, Councillor Michael Qaqish, Special Liaison for Refugee Resettlement, The Honourable Yasir Naqvi, Attorney General and Member of Provincial Parliament, Ottawa Centre, and representatives from local employment and community organizations will be on hand tomorrow in support of the Pathways to Employment for Refugees event.

Time: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Speeches are at 9:30 a.m.
Location: Andrew S. Haydon Hall (Council Chambers), Ottawa City Hall, 110 Laurier Avenue West
Ottawa employers are invited to attend the day-long event to connect with prospective candidates, network with other employers, learn about community programs supporting refugees and discover how newcomer employees can benefit a business.
