Ottawa – Ottawa Public Health (OPH) has issued a Do Not Drink Advisory for the following addresses:
Water users in the affected area must use an alternative source of water, such as bottled water, for all consumption purposes including drinking, making juice, ice and infant formula, as well as for use in food preparation. Please note that tap water cannot be made safe by boiling while this advisory is in effect.
Signs must be posted at water taps and water fountains advising not to consume the water.
Ottawa Public Health has been proactively working with the affected business owners to ensure they are aware and compliant with this advisory.
This advisory will be rescinded once Ottawa Public Health is satisfied that water quality meets drinking water guidelines and tap water is deemed to be safe.
Additional information is available at ottawa.ca, or by calling 3-1-1, or Ottawa Public Health at 613-580-6744.
