How are you getting to Lansdowne this weekend?

Ottawa – Between the Ottawa Asian Festival, UFC Fight Night and other smaller events, Lansdowne will be a busy place this weekend. Visitors to Lansdowne are encouraged to use transit and other alternate forms of transportation, such as cycling and walking.


Here are some things to keep in mind:

• There are plenty of bike racks are available throughout Lansdowne.

• OC Transpo routes 1 and 7 will be operating.
• You can ride OC Transpo for free by presenting your UFC ticket or Ottawa Asian Night Market event ticket, which can be accessed from the festival website.
• A free shuttle service, running between Ottawa City Hall and Lansdowne, will operate from 11:30 a.m. Saturday to 1 a.m. Sunday morning. The shuttle will pick up and drop off riders at City Hall’s Lisgar Street entrance.
• The weekend parking rate for City Hall is $2 per day.
• UFC ticket holders can have their parking validated at the City Hall garage, starting at 3:30 p.m. to get free parking.
• Underground parking at Lansdowne is sold out for Saturday, and will be limited on Friday night and Sunday.
