Police are seeking assistance in identifying a suspect in a bank robbery in Little Italy last week.
Police said the suspect walked into a bank branch on Preston Street near Norman Street at about 3:40 p.m. on June 16.
He waited in line before walking to a service representative with a note demanding cash. He was handed an undisclosed amount of money and fled.
There were no injuries.
The suspect is described as Caucasian, about 35 years old, with a medium height and build, brown hair, a short beard and full moustache.
He was wearing grey pants, white runners, a blue shirt, a white BB cap with a shamrock on the back and mirrored sunglasses.
Anyone with information is asked to call Ottawa police robbery unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5116. Anonymous tips can be made to Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
