Police have charged a 33-year-old Ottawa man in connection with a robbery at a Meadowbrook Road store on June 12.
David Leger was arrested without incident on Wednesday police say and charged with single counts of robbery and possession of a weapon.
He was released on a promise to appear on July 20.
At about 1 a.m. on June 12 a suspect went into a convenience store on the 2000 block of Meadowbrook Road, went behind the counter and pulled a large knife.
The clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, as well as “a quantity” cigars and the suspect fled. There were no injuries.
