A 21-year-old Ottawa man has been charged after he went to a police station to “clear his conscience” and admit to sexually assaulting a boy with a disability.
Ottawa police said a man went to the police station on June 6 to confess to sexually assaulting a 14-year-old boy.
Nathan Van Noy, 21, was charged on Thursday with sexual assault, sexual interference, sexual exploitation of a young person and sexual exploitation of a person with a disability.
Van Noy was expected to appear in court on Thursday.
