If you’ve ever wanted to see Ottawa’s mayor get pied in the face, your wish has been granted.
Mayor Jim Watson and Somerset Coun. Catherine McKenney both got a face full of pastry Friday at 12 p.m. to help raise money for Ottawa West Community Support, a group that provides assistance to hundreds of seniors in the city.
People could enter the contest to throw a pie at one of the two politicians by donating to the support group. The names were randomly drawn.
Neil Young (not the musician) won the chance to throw a pie at McKenney, while Leah Doiron drew Watson.
