Ottawa – Motorists, cyclists and pedestrians are advised that repair works continue to progress at Rideau Street and Sussex Drive. Today, Sussex Drive southbound from George to Rideau streets re-opens. Motorists, cyclists and pedestrians may now head southbound on Sussex Drive and turn right heading westbound on Wellington Street. At this time Colonel By Drive northbound and southbound from Rideau Street to Daly Avenue will also re-open
As well, all pedestrian crossings at the intersection Rideau Street and Sussex Drive are now open.
As of June 26, motorists and cyclists could resume travelling east on Rideau Street and turn left (northbound) on Sussex Drive.
Pedestrians may now access Rideau Street using a variety of walkways. Please follow on-site wayfinding.
Businesses remain open as usual during construction. Drivers, cyclists and pedestrians should visit ottawa.ca for maps and more detailed information to enjoy food, sightseeing, shopping and entertainment in vibrant downtown Ottawa.
