For the third time in less than a week, shopkeepers are sweeping up after a vehicle crashed through a storefront.

Police said no one was hurt, and no charges will be laid after a Mazda minivan jumped a curb and smashed into the front window of Fresh Grocer, in a strip mall at the corner of Montreal and Carsons Road. The vehicle came to rest across several parking spaces near the strip mall exit.

The incident was not nearly as serious as Saturday’s crash, which sent two children and an adult to hospital after a woman drove her car through the window of a Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen, several kilometres down the street at Montreal and Ogilvie roads. The 42-year-old driver, who had two children in the car with her, now faces careless driving charges.

On Tuesday afternoon, a woman driving an SUV crashed into a Stittsville Hillary’s Cleaners storefront. No one was injured.
