The Sûreté du Québec continues to investigate after the body of a man, 55, was found Wednesday morning in a ditch near the village of Plaisance, between Thurso and Montebello.
The body was discovered by a passerby at about 9 a.m. near the Plaisance Bridge.
Police said there were no marks of violence on the body and it has not been decided whether an autopsy will be conducted.
Police have determined the victim was a Plaisance resident but would not release his identity because the family has not been identified.
