The Ottawa police guns and gangs unit are investigating after shots were apparently fired in the city’s east end Wednesday.
The shooting occurred during the day in the 400 block of King George Street, near Frances Street.
A resident noticed a broken window at the front of their home. Upon further investigation a bullet was found lodged in the window’s frame, which had caused it to break.
One shell casing was found near the residence when police had arrived.
No injuries were reported and no 911 calls were received about shots being fired.
