A coroner is investigating after a 32-year-old man was found dead in a swimming pool in Gatineau Tuesday morning.
Police and paramedics answered a 911 call at 9:43 a.m. about an unconscious man in the pool at a home on P.-Labine Street in the northeast part of the city. People at the scene were trying to revive the man when the officers arrived, but he was pronounced dead in hospital around noon.
An investigation is under way, and although a coroner is involved police say there has been no decision on whether an autopsy is needed.
His name hasn’t been released.
