Gatineau pedestrian hit by truck, suffers serious injuries

A pedestrian sustained serious injuries Thursday afternoon after being hit by a truck in Gatineau.

Gatineau police said the person was struck by the vehicle while crossing Boulevard Maloney at the corner of Rue Brian.

The exact details surrounding the collision are not yet known.

Maloney was closed in both directions between Brian and Rue Harold to allow officers to complete the investigation.
