Gatineau police arrested a 20-year-old man who they say was driving with a blood-alcohol level almost twice the legal limit.
Police said they were called by a driver around 8:25 a.m. after they noticed a GMC van being driven erratically.
The man was arrested and failed a breathalyzer test he was given once he arrived at the police station. Police said the man’s alcohol-blood level was almost twice the legal limit.
The man’s car was towed and his licence was suspended for 90 days, police said.
Some of the five passengers in the vehicle with the 20-year-old driver were ticketed for not wearing their seatbelts properly.
