A Kanata man faces child pornography charges after a five-week OPP investigation that was sparked by a tip from the Queensland Australia Federal Police.
In June, Australian police discovered a person was making sexual abuse images available online. After further investigation, Australian police identified a man they believed lived in eastern Ontario.
Australian police handed the investigation over to the OPP’s child sexual exploitation unit.
Five weeks later, police executed a search warrant at a Kanata home and seized three computers and other items containing child sexual abuse images. The devices will be forensically examined by police.
Sean Kenneth Casiple-Lueck, 46, is charged with making child pornography, possession of child pornography and making child pornography available. He is also charged with one count of voyeurism.
Casiple-Lueck was scheduled to appear in court Monday.
