Police in Renfrew have charged a 22-year-old man with allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting a female, and they believe there may be more victims.
Justin MacGregor, 22, of Renfrew was charged with sexual assault and overcoming resistance by administering a drug.
The female came forward to police on July 14, and alleged the sexual assault occurred late June. The suspect and female are known to each other, police said, and are urging any other potential victims to contact police.
The suspect was held in custody for a bail hearing Monday.
Police are asking anyone with information on the suspect to contact Renfrew OPP, and said officers are “available to speak to victims or witnesses” by calling 1-888-310-1122. Renfrew OPP Det. Const. Philip Holmes is leading the investigation.
