Flags at half-mast in memory of former Rideau Ward Councillor Desmond S. Bender

Ottawa – The flags at Ottawa City Hall will be lowered to half-mast from sunrise to sunset on Saturday, July 23, the day of the memorial service for Desmond S. Bender, former Rideau Ward Councillor (1963-1972).


Mr. Bender passed away on Tuesday, April 12.
