At 6:41 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking an area of severe thunderstorms capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain.
Severe thunderstorms are tracking from the northwest to southeast at 40 km/h and are expected to persist this evening.
