Ottawa firefighters battled a two-alarm fire at 1215 Trenton Ave. late Friday night.
Ottawa Fire Services received a 911 call about a house fire at 10:53, with the caller saying black smoke was pouring out of the two-storey building.
It was reported that the owners were not home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.
The fire is under investigation and there was no estimate of damage immediately available.
