A man was taken to hospital with undisclosed injuries after an incident near Smyth Road early Sunday morning.
Ottawa police said they were called to a disturbance at about 7:15 a.m. on Russell Road, near the Dempsey Community Centre at 1895 Russell Rd. Police did not say where the stabbing took place. Witnesses said several homes in the area were cordoned off by police.
No others were reported injured and no one was in custody in relation to the incident.
