Woman hit by truck recovering in hospital

A woman in her 60s was taken to hospital Tuesday afternoon with a leg injury after she was struck by a truck at the intersection of Gladstone and Preston Street.

Paramedics arrived at 3:25 p.m. to find the woman conscious and suffering from a significant injury to her leg.

She was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition.
