A Gatineau woman died Wednesday evening and a man is in hospital, but police and the coroner are still trying to understand what happened.
So far police say it doesn’t appear to be a crime, but this still needs to be confirmed.
Police got the call from paramedics a little before 9 p.m.
They had been called to a home on Notre-Dame Street for a man and a woman both in medical distress.
The woman died and the man is now in the Hull Hospital.
“The cause of death is not known for the moment,” police announced Thursday, and officers will be examining the scene to try to understand what happened.
