A man has died in Gatineau, two days after his wife died, and police will only say that the circumstances of both deaths are mysterious.
Last Wednesday evening the paramedics found the woman, 55, and man, 69, showing signs of some form of “medical distress” at their home on Notre-Dame Street. The woman died shortly afterwards, and police announced Tuesday that her husband died Friday afternoon.
Gatineau police have not yet released the names of either person and said they don’t yet know the cause of death of either.
There has been an autopsy on the woman, and police said they hope for information from the provincial forensics lab in Montreal in the next few days.
The home is still sealed off by police.
