Police report all clear after report of suspicious package at main Ottawa mosque

Ottawa police have decleared an all-clear at the main Ottawa mosque on Northwestern Avenue, following a report of a suspicious package.

The chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosives (CBRNE) team – a combined force of emergency responders – responded to the scene after the report came in at 9:30 a.m.

The area was declared clear after an almost two-hour search.
