Police trying to identify two cars involved in shooting

Ottawa police are asking for help in identifying two cars that were used in a shooting near Overbrook on Sunday.

The Ottawa Police Service responded to gunshots at around 4:47 p.m. near Ogilvie Road and Cummings Avenue.

Westbound lanes of Ogilvie Road between Aviation Parkway and St. Laurent Boulevard were closed to traffic but have since been reopened. Cummings Avenue is also now open after being closed in both directions at Ogilvie Road for the investigation.

Police are asking anyone who saw the two vehicles to call 911.
