A 25-year-old man has died following a single vehicle crash in Pembroke last week.
The OPP said Alexander Joseph Spidle of Whitewater Region died in hospital following the Aug. 12 crash on Mud Lake Road.
Police said Spidle was seriously injured after the 2011 Ford SUV he was driving left the road and hit a utility pole at about 7:30 a.m. The Pembroke fire department had to extricate Spidle from the vehicle, police said.
The collision closed Mud Lake Road between Paul Martin Drive and Sawmill Road for several hours. The OPP said the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
