A man was slashed in the face with a knife following an altercation on Somerset Street early Monday.
Ottawa police said three men got into a dispute in the 300 block of Somerset Street at about 12:40 a.m. One of the men was attacked with a knife.
According to police, the victim left the scene before officers arrived and went to the hospital to receive treatment on his own.
Two men have since been arrested and charges are pending.
