Motorists are being asked to avoid Castlefrank Road between Winchester and McKitrick drives after a gas leak was reported Wednesday morning.
According to Ottawa police, the leak occurred in the 0-100 block of Castlefrank shortly before 8:17 a.m. and a number of people were evacuated.
No specific address was given. That portion of Castlefrank has private residences on the west side of the street, and the Glen Cairn Tennis Club and the Hazeldean branch of the Ottawa Public Library on the east side.
