Road closures are expected for Sunday as parade floats and revellers flood parts of Ottawa for Capital Pride.
While the parade starts at 1:15 p.m., the following roads will be closed from 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
Other roads along the parade route will also be closed between noon and 4 p.m.
Bank Street between Somerset Street West and Florence Street will be closed from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. to accommodate for a Capital Pride community fair.
Parking will be prohibited on the parade route from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

While the parade starts at 1:15 p.m., the following roads will be closed from 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
- Both directions of Bank Street between Catherine Street and Gladstone Avenue.
- Both directions of Gladstone Avenue between O’Connor and Kent streets.
- O’Connor Street between Gladstone Avenue and Lewis Street will be reduced to one lane.
Other roads along the parade route will also be closed between noon and 4 p.m.
- Gladstone Avenue between Bank and Kent streets.
- Kent Street between Gladstone Avenue and Laurier Avenue West.
- Laurier Avenue West between Kent and Bank streets.
- Bank Street between Laurier Avenue West and Somerset Street West.
