Two men were injured, with one in “severely critical condition,” after a motorcycle collision at St. Patrick Street and Beausoleil Drive early Saturday.
At 6:42 a.m., paramedics received a call to the single-vehicle crash, where they found two men with traumatic injuries.
The first, a 22-year-old man, was unconscious and suffered “severe life threatening multi-system trauma.” Paramedics began aggressive life saving interventions on the roadway, and he was taken to the Regional Trauma centre in severely critical condition.
The second man, 26, was conscious and speaking to paramedics, with a serious upper leg injury and severe road rash. He was treated and transported to the Regional Trauma Centre in serious but stable condition.
St. Patrick Street is closed in both directions between Cobourg Street and King Edward Avenue while police investigate. The public is asked to avoid the area.
