A 26-year-old man was seriously injured after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car Sunday evening on Montreal Road near St. Laurent Boulevard at around 8:51.
The motorcycle rider was conscious when paramedics arrived and was treated at the scene for shoulder and leg injuries, said Ottawa paramedic Supt. François Côté. The motorcyclist was transported in serious but stable condition to The Ottawa Hospital trauma centre at the Civic campus.
No other injuries were reported.
The two vehicles have been towed from the scene of the collision and the road is open to traffic.
