Gatineau police are requesting the public’s assistance to help find Vern Touchette, 74, who has been missing from the Notre-Dame area of Gatineau since Aug. 17.
Touchette’s family hasn’t heard from him in more than a week.
Police said he has no serious health problems and they don’t suspect he has suffered from any psychological distress.
Police said they don’t believe Touchette’s disappearance is related to criminal activity, but do have reason to fear for his safety.
Touchette is described as having brown eyes, grey hair, weighing around 180 pounds and standing 5-10.
