Grenville County OPP were searching for 83-year-old Max Westphalen of Kanata on Saturday night.
Westphalen went missing while visiting a North Grenville home, police said. He was last seen at 2:30 p.m. and three hours later police were sent to a residence on Todd School Road. The Grenville County OPP were being assisted in the search by the OPP emergency response team, the OPP canine unit and the aerial support unit.
Westphalen is described as white, 5-11 with a medium build, white/grey hair and prescription glasses. Police said he was possibly wearing a beige baseball cap, a light shirt with blue and white lines, and beige pants.
Anyone with information on Westphalen’s whereabouts was asked to call the Grenville County OPP Communication Centre at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-(TIPS) 8477, or submit your tip on-line at www.tipsubmit.com.
