Gatineau police arrested four people and seized a large quantity of drugs in a series of major raids Thursday night.
Armed with warrants, officers raided residences at 30 Rue des Noisetiers, 23 Rue des Noyers, 74 Rue de la petite Ourse and 3 Rue de l’Astrolabe, apt. 3. All addresses are in the old Hull sector.
Seized in the raids were: 215 pounds of marijuana, two kilograms of cocaine, 387 grams of crystal meth, 46 grams of MDMA, 16 litres of GHB, a number of vials of steroids, 28.3 grams of hash and a press to fabricate kilo bricks of cocaine.
Police also seized $155,000 in cash, a number of cellphones and accounting lists. Two cars — a 2016 Honda CRV sedan and a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer — were also seized.
Three men and a woman, aged from 22 to 27, were taken into custody and were to appear in court Friday on charges of possession and trafficking of drugs.
