A 57-year-old Ottawa man is facing multiple charges after police say he sexually abused a child in a Centretown residence.
Investigators opened an investigation earlier this month when they received a report of a man who had sexually assaulted a minor.
The incidents took place between January 2015 and May of this year at a home in the 300 block of Waverley Street, according to police.
Walter Starnaman has been charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, and uttering threats. He is expected to appear in court Friday.
Investigators with the Ottawa Police Sexual Assault and Child Abuse section are concerned there could be more victims.
