Paramedics and other first responders had a busy evening and morning, with three serious crashes in three hours.

Late Tuesday, a3 6-year-old man was taken to hospital after his motorcycle crashed on Bronson Avenue at Riverside Drive.

The biker suffered knee and leg injuries but was conscious when paramedics arrived. Paramedics credited a special padded motorcycling cycling for protecting him from more serious injuries to his head and spine.

He was described as in stable condition.

Shortly before 2 a.m., responders were called to a rollover on Highway 417 near Hunt Club Road.

The driver, a 24-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

OPP is investigating.

Minutes later, paramedics were called to a crash on Leitrim Road at Bowesville Road after a car apparently rolled at least three times before landing on the roof.

The driver managed to exit the car uninjured.
