Ottawa – Mayor Jim Watson will present the 2016 Karsh Award to Michael Schreier this Thursday, September 15, at the Karsh-Masson Gallery.
The Karsh-Masson Gallery is hosting the exhibition The Karsh Award: Michael Schreier – Camera Obscura, which features two distinct series that capture the artist’s diverse philosophical practice. Subtle and poetic, Schreier’s portraits of people and space are meditations on memory, loss and the everyday.
The exhibition runs until October 16. The Karsh-Masson Gallery is open every day from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., including holidays.
