Today I just passed the G2 Exit road test.
You should change to right lane when it is safe on Walkley. The examiner will let you know when you should change to left lane. Usually you will be told to do this before Bank street. But my experience today is when I reached to Bank street at about 9:10am, I met the red light. Until that time the examiner did not say anything. I was so worried about this because there were a lot of cars on the left lane. I was afraid I could not change to left lane at that short road. Thinking for a while, I said: It is nice day today! He replied: It is. Then I asked him: Should I change lane and go to the airport pkway? He said: Yes. After I passed the Bank street, he said: change to left lane when it is safe. I put the left turn light immediately, and looked for the empty space during acceleration. I was so lucky one guy gave me free space and I moved into the left lane smoothly and safely.
Key points: check blind spot, don't forget turn on left/right light before doing three points turn, parallel parking. check left, right when you pass the intersection.
Good luck to those who are going to take the road test.
