Gatineau police continue to investigate the discovery early Thursday of a seriously injured man found unconscious near De Castillon and Des Trois-Moulins streets in Masson-Angers sector.
The man, 54, had life-threatening injuries to his head, shoulders and upper body.
Despite social media reports of a possible beating, police said they were “considering all possibilities” in their invesitgation.
Investigators shut down Des Trois-Moulins Street for their probe and detectives were conducting interviews door-to-door.
Police would not release the victim’s identity.
Anyone with information is asked to call Gatineau police at 819-243-INFO(4636), option 5.
