A motorcyclist has died after a serious collision with a vehicle in the Byward Market Friday evening.
Paramedics said at about 7:15 p.m. that a male motorcyclist, who is believed to be in his 20s or 30s, suffered severe injuries in the incident in front of a hardware store on George Street. He was transported to hospital.
The white, racing-style motorcycle appears to have collided with a black Range Rover. Blood and a single black sneaker could be seen at the scene.
