A man with life-threatening injuries from a gunshot was taken to hospital this morning, Ottawa paramedics said.
The shooting happening just after 6 a.m. in the Shillington Road area.
The 26-year-old man was treated for multiple gunshot wounds at the scene.
Police are investigating.
